Mushroom

Camera-Pentax K1000

Lens-50mm

This picture was taken by a simple and effective technique which is being used for taking macro shots in the absence of an actual macro lens .The  technique used here is the reverse lens technique.
For those who haven't got a clue on what this technique is ,it is the one in which the lens regardless of the type  ()is removed from the camera body and it is reversed ( turned )and then held close to the camera body and the arrangement  can be used for taking macro shots. But using this method do have its own risks. One of the risks involved in using the reverse lens technique is that if you are not careful enough to keep together the lens and camera body properly , then light passing directly inside the camera body(sensor ) can occur which will ruin your shot. This risk can be minimized to some extend by covering the arrangement with a black cloth (Like in the old days).

Puttu Maker

Traditional food maker  (പുട്ട് കുറ്റി)

The Bamboo steamcake maker is made almost entirely by hand  and purely from nature which include bamboo(മുള ) and Coir (കയർ ).

Puttu is considered as one of the favorite breakfast in Kerala, tamilnadu, sreelanka etc. This food is preferred by many since it is very easy to make and is also a great combo with a wide variety of curries(പപ്പടം,പഴം ,കടല കറി ). Nowadays wide varieties of puttu kutti (പുട്ടുകുറ്റി ) are available.

On the way....

On the way....(Thekkady)

This photo is took from Pathanamthitta district in Kerala at morning time in rainy season.
Dear friends I always went to Kerala trip for summer and winter season, because i think that is the better time for tracking high range area and scope of photography. But this rainy season we decided to go for outing in the eastern part of Kerala. And it was entirely a different experience from that we had earlier.
